5/15 – Perfect Pizza Pairing: Ah, pizza! Who doesn’t love a slice? But have you considered which wine styles best suit your pie? If you are curious how to elevate your pizza eating experience, join us for one of our most popular classes! Our experienced wine and food educators will explain in detail the flexibility of pizza. Everything is made fresh in a wood-fired pizza oven, featuring unique and intriguing toppings that stretch the norm and excite your palate; especially when paired with delicious wines! $55 // 6:30

6/5 – Pinot Party: A plethora of Pinot will be explored from Pinot Gris (Grigio), Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meaner and, of course, Pinot Noir. Delicate, sumptuous, and beautifully crafted Pinot will be presented and enjoyed in a sequential, educational and fun liquid symposium. $45 // 6:30

6/19 – The Redder the Better: Our Father’s Day tribute! What better gift for good old Dad than an opportunity to experience some of the most amazing, big, bold, high-end, globally-awesome red wines? We’re doing some choice cherry picking from all the around the vino planet to put together a very special tasting. California, wonderful Washington, incredible Italian, fabulous French, stunning Spanish…I think you get the idea. Oh, this tasting is certainly not just for the Patriarch of the family, right ladies? $75 // 6:30 pm

7/10 – Bubble-licious: Back by popular demand – this course is a real cork-popper! We will be tasting through a gorgeous flight of bubbles from around the world. We will learn how they are made, and how various types: Champagne, Cava, Lambrusco, Prosecco, Cremant, and other sparkling wines differ from one another. This is a great way to become pleasantly effervescent and form a clearer idea of which bubbles you prefer and why. $55 // 6:30 pm

7/24 – Wine 101/Oregon: Our neighbor to the south – the third largest wine producing state in our nation – is going to be explored. From the norther part of the Willamette Valley to the southern reaches of the Rogue Valley we’ll taste some exceptional examples of wines all along the Oregon wine trail. $45 // 6:30 pm

8/7 – Wine 101/France: Our broad liquid tour of the major Old World wine centric countries continues…AND we just might be saving the best for last. “Vive Vino la France!” $45 // 6:30 pm

8/21 – Wine 101/W2: Walla Walla just might be the middle epicenter of Washington State wine and we plan on diving into the various different wines emanating and coming from the home base headquarters of the national federal Dept. of Redundancy Department. We might have to Pandora Duran Duran and serve cous cous. (Oh yes I did!) $45 // 6:30 pm

9/11 – Wine 101/Spain: Spanish wines are spectacular and often overshadowed by the other “Old World,” wine-centric countries of Italy and France. One individual had a lot to do with getting Spanish wines to the forefront of the American consumer. Jorge Ordonez was one of the first exporters of Spanish wines to the “New World” and proved there was so much more than Rioja produced in Spain. We’re going to focus on the wines of Ordonez in a fantastic, very informative liquid tour of Spain. $45 // 6:30 pm

 

Artifacts Wine Academy

Artifacts Wine Academy aims to take some of the intimidation out of learning about wine. No stuffy classrooms here. Each two-hour class looks at wine through a specific lense, whether that be a certain region, varietal or type of wine. Learn proper tasting methods, what makes good wine great, how to pair wine with food, the history of famous grape-growing regions and much more.

Each price of the class includes specially chosen charcuterie and fromagerie, all to pair with the beautiful wines we select.
