April 3, 2017 – 6:30pm: Wine 101 – Spain. Spanish wines are spectacular and often overshadowed by the other “Old World”, wine centric countries of Italy & France. One individual had a lot to do with getting Spanish wines more to the forefront of the American consumer. Jorge Ordonez was one of the first exporters of Spanish wines to the “New World” and proved there was so much more than Rioja produced in Spain. We’re going to focus on the wines of Ordonez in a fantastic, very informative liquid tour of Spain.
